He is survived by: his wife Bernita Kay Kroese; his daughter Kelly Andringa of Iowa City, Iowa; and his siblings, Terry Andringa (Emily) of Sheldon, Iowa, Larry Andringa (Lavonne) of Spirit Lake, Iowa and Mary Andringa of Henderson.
