He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dyke and Dora Van Dyke (Riedstra); and his siblings, Thomas Van Dyke (Bertha), Jessie Lemmer (Kenneth), Albert Van Dyke, Henrietta Tellinghuisen (Leonard) and Alwena Dolieslager (Gerald).
He is survived by: his wife Everdean Vaandrager; his children, Dennis Van Dyke (Jo) of Caledonia, MI, Dale Van Dyke (Kelli) of Caledonia, MI, Don Van Dyke (Julie) of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Darla Van Dyke of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Nick Faulkner (Ray), Jarrid Faulkner, Leslee Reiter (Tyler), Ben Van Dyke (Lindsay) and Kelsey Jaeger (Justin); and his in-laws, William, Bonnie Nanninga, Gretta Vaandrager, Doreen Van Dyke, Francis "Bud" Vaandrager, Kenneth Vaandrager (Thelma) and Clarence Verhoef (Thelma). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
The Family wish that in lieu of flowers that Memorials be directed to Sanford Home, Health & Hospice.
