He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Dessie Pearl Miller (Warden); and his siblings, Roy, Russell Miller, Eugene King and Louise Crandall.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mae Miller of Hampton; his children, Shannon Jo Bliss (William) of Urbandale and Mitch Edward Miller (Michelle Roose) of Sheffield; his grandchildren, Justine Kruse (Tyler) of Wheat Ridge, Megan Roose of Ankeny, Jordan Krueger (Allison) of Bondurant and Jeremy Krueger (Meredith Davis) of Des Moines; his great grandchildren, Kamden Krueger, Calvin Waggoner, Braeden Thompson and Kenley Krueger; and his sisters, Bessie Nutter of Oklahoma City and Alice Massey (Robert) of Des Moines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
