We bid farewell to Dorothy Irene Deam of Sheffield, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 95. Dorothy Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Kramer and Gertie Kramer; her former husband Chuck Eckhardt; her husband Donald Deam; and her son Mark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michaelyn Eckhardt (Les Yaw) of Chapin and Penny Deam (Rich Reid) of Eden Prairie, MN; her granddaughter Samantha Huisenga (Shannon Hardman); her great grandchildren, Luke Clark, Hunter, Wyatt Michels, Jossie and Gracie Hardman; her grandson Jeramy Huisenga (Jill Peterson); her great grandchild Vanessa Huisenga; and her brother Marvin Kramer (Phyllis) of Worthington, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hampton - Woodley Funeral Home (306 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Care Initiatives Hospice and the Alzheimer's Association.
