David William Craighton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2023, at the age of 73, David William Craighton of Sheffield, Iowa, born in Hampton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Craighton and Alice Craighton (Armstrong); his daughter Amy Sue; his sisters, Sheryl and Diana; his siblings-in-law, Donna Meints and Ron Meints; and his nieces and nephews, Sherylyn Kyles, Glenn Craighton, Jennifer Craighton and Jeremy Craighton.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Craighton of Sheffield; his children, Kent Craighton (Paula Monroe) of Hampton, Kristen Christianson (Tom) of Belmond and Kevin Craighton (Jennie) of Sheffield; his grandchildren, Cole Beirnes (Holly), Coltin Craighton, Samantha Beirnes, Madison Dettmer (Matthew), Keely Craighton, Court Christianson (Sydney), Drew Christianson (Danielle), Jonah Christianson, Cannon Craighton, Grace Craighton and Griffin Craighton; his great grandchildren, Tatum Rings and Berkley Christianson; his siblings, Sandra Kyles (Rick), Daniel Craighton (Connie), Larry Craighton (Deb), Lowell Craighton (Sandie), Timothy Craighton (Rosina) and Thomas Craighton (Dawn); and his brothers-in-law, Verne Sanders (Brenda Nichols) and Larry Meints. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
