Patricia Fortune Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Fortune of Seymour, Iowa, born in Corydon, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Johnston and Virginia Johnston (Callahan); her great grandchild Brynlee Paul; her parents-in-law, Wayne and Lois Fortune; and her stepmother Audie Johnston.

She is survived by: her husband James Fortune; her children, Daniel Fortune (Michelle), Mike Fortune (Shirley), Tricia Fortune, Chris Fortune (Shawna) and Jennifer Gay (Brad); and her grandchildren, Danielle Miller (Matt), Samantha Young (Jerel), Kristyn DeVore (Turner), Ashley Meeks (Matt), Taylor Fortune (Brittany), Heather Pope (Brandon), Jesse Jones, Corey Fortune (Haley Hull), Keaton Gay, Tianna Fortune and Zechariah Gay. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren, numerous extended family members and many friends.
