He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hesse and Jewel Hesse (Sullians); his siblings, Joe, Mary Elizabeth, Virgil, Aubrey and Pete; and his in-laws, Gene and Angie Wray.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana; his wife Linda Hesse; his children, Richard Hesse, Denise Henrikus (Dale), Allen Hesse (Lisa), Dianna Hansen (Steve) and Holly Hesse; his daughter-in-law Melia Hesse; and his sister Betty Reves. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 48 foster kids.
