He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard, Harold, Edra, Cleo, Maurice and Ron.
He is survived by: his children, Jenifer Owenson (Chris) of Des Moines, Julia Simanski (Todd) of Ankeny, Jill Weeks of Post Falls, Idaho and Anthony Weeks of San Francisco, California.; his grandchildren, Taylor Karns, Anna Owenson, Connor Simanski, Olivia Simanski, Chad Norris and Madeline Norris; his wife Roberta Weeks (French); his stepchildren, Steve Rumelhart (Susan) and Sherri Rumelhart (Brad); his grandchildren, Helen, Shevin (Preston) and Kheila (Alex); his great grandchildren, Laura Rae, Landon, Lincoln, Layilee and Everett; and his sister Twilla Hoffman of Carroll, Iowa.. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
At both events, the family requests that attendees be fully vaccinated and wear masks in order to protect others and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
A memorial has been established to a Seymour School Scholarship Fund to be determined at a later date and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
