It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Adams (Seymour, Iowa), born in Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Strunk and Laura Strunk (Bryant Purvis); her daughters, Rachel Lynn Adams and Sarah Lou Adams; her sister-in-law Pam Strunk; and her parents-in-law, Henry Adams Sr. and Florence Adams.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Adams of Seymour; her daughter Ruth Adams of Seymour; her siblings, Gayle Davenport (Steve) of Coatsville, Missouri and Danny Strunk of Moulton; her niece Amy DeVore (Scott); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney of Seymour, Madison of Seymour and Denver of Seymour; her nephew Joshua Davenport (Tara); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jodi, Wendi, Clayton and Leland of Unionville, Iowa; and her niece Molly Carter (Jimmy) of Powersville, Missouri. She is also survived by siblings and their families and many other relatives and friends.

While living in Maryland, Barbara was active in her local church, worked in home health care, homeschooled her daughter, Ruth, and volunteered many hours at the Catherine Foundation, a crisis pregnancy center.
