He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Jean Griesch; and his son-in-law David Wax. He is survived by: his wife Maria Caroline Gray of Sergeant Bluff; and his children, Christopher of Kansas City, MO, Timothy (Kim) of Westminster, SC, Jody Wax of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Karen Jackson (Rick) of Hornick, IA and Susan Taylor of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Otis also showed an exceptional dedication to his beloved Maria throughout the progression of her Alzheimer's.
