She was predeceased by: her parents, Taka Miyata and Hideo Tsushima. She is survived by: her children, Brian Thompson, Jim Thompson (Wendy), Bluff and Denise Burkhart (Jason) of Salix; her grandchildren, Dallas Thompson (Tamra), Samantha Burkhart and Caleb Sassman; and her sister Jo Heimbach.
