He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Merryman and Helen Merryman (Bever); and his brother Charlie Merryman. He is survived by: his wife Clara Brubaker; his children, Bradley Merryman (Dustyne), Brenda Saxen (Blake) and Teresa Andersen (Richard); his sister Sherry Whitney; and his grandchildren, Casey Oleson (Jeremy), Amber Baker (Justin), Kelsey Hinrickson (Blake), Dustin Anderson (Kim), Tiffany Ballantyne (Aaron), Cassie Rupp, Tony Saxen, Shane Saxen, Sami Saxen and Matthew Larson. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
