Joseph L. Mitchell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph L. Mitchell of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Mitchell and Virgil Mitchell; and his brothers, Virgil Mitchell (Sonny) and Grant Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Joan Linnea Mitchell (Rye); his children, Cheryl Connot of Sioux City and Todd Mitchell of Topeka, KS; and his brothers, Tubby Mitchell (Peg) of Sioux City and Ken Mitchell (Jan) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
