He is survived by: his parents, Thongsiane Thongphet and Kanha Thongphet (Sypaserth); his wife Lecta Khanyapuk of Sergeant Bluff, IA; his children, Denney Thongphet of Sioux City, IA, Madison Rasmy and Boston Thongphet of Sergeant Bluff, IA; his sister Ruth Liston (Matt) of Sioux City, IA; his nephews, Kaidyn Lantz and Brody Liston of Sioux City, IA; his parents-in-law, Somchit and Khamphew Khanyaphak; and his sisters-in-law, Litha, Nacha, Ampha, Laong Khanyaphak of Kenethao and Sainyabuli. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
