It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Gibson of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Gibson and Avalda Gibson (Mueller); his wife Catherine Eickholt; and his brother Dean Gibson. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Gibson (Kendra) and Andrew Gibson (Gayle); his siblings, Jerry Gibson (Pauline), Glen Gibson (Leslie), Keith Gibson (Barb) and Carol Meyers; and his grandchildren, Karson and Marshall.
