He was predeceased by: his parents, S. L. Greene (Jack) and Esther Greene (Heinsen); his parents-in-law, Don, Maxine Heiter and Joyce; and his son Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Heiter of Spencer; his son Douglas (Joni) of Dakota City, NE; his stepchildren, Jan Burnham (Mark) of Des Moines and Kelley Johnson (Mark) of Le Mars, IA; and his sisters, Bettie Mills and Mary Fitzgerald. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
