She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hansen and Mary Hansen (Neumann); her husband Arthur Shugar; her siblings, Doris Nixon, Thelma Borrink and Francis Hansen; and her siblings-in-law, Rollie Nixon, Lawrence Borrink, Bill Bahrke and Helen Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Edward of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Craig of Lantana, Florida, Jeffrey (Kim) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Kevin of Lantana, Florida and Pamela Condon (Thomas) of Fort Dodge, Iowa. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; extended family as well as a host of friends.
