He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Wolverton and Dorrit Wolverton (Forbes); his wife Maxine; his son Jim Wolverton; and his siblings, George Wolverton, Lucy, Laura, Mary Ann and Clara Josephine.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara L. Malloy (Mike) of Salix, Iowa; his brother Art Wolverton of Hotchkiss, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Myrtha Wolverton of Crete, Nebraska. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
