He is survived by: his wife LouAnn Mulvihill of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; his son Dane Mogensen of Sioux City, Iowa; his sister Cherie Mogensen of Mesa, Arizona; his sister-in-law Jane Mogensen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his nieces and nephews, Joel Mogensen (Caitlyn), Becky Valencia (Austin), Jacob Mogensen and Aimee Vondrak.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials, in Dave's name, be offered to The Children's Miracle Network.
