He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Edith Peterson (Kingery); his brothers, Howard Peterson (Joan) and Roland "Top" Peterson (Janice); and his brother-in-law Harold Wheeler.
He is survived by: his former wife Juana Daguinod; his wife Juana "Nanie" Peterson; his daughter Pamela Smith (Randy); his grandsons, Jacob and Jordan Smith; and his siblings, Carolyn Wheeler and Fredrick "Bing" Peterson (Joann).
