With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol I. Stinger- Bauernfeind of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, born in Silver Creek, Nebraska, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Benscoter and Flossie Benscoter (Fowler); her husbands, Wayne Stinger and Louis Bauernfeind; her son Lloyd Stinger; her children-in-law, Bob Lau and Bobbi Stinger; and her siblings, Dorotha Reinert, Louise Bertrand, Phyllis Roberts and Louis Benscoter.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Lau, Darrell Stinger (Marlene), Ralph Stinger and Craig Stinger (Monica). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
