With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan LeRoy Rinehart of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Rinehart and Hope Rinehart (Huisman); his wife Catherine Duff; his brothers, Marvin and Kenneth; and his great grandchild Sawyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Newton and Jennifer Harder; his siblings, Beverly, Chuck and Richard Rinehart; his grandchildren, Taylor Gant and Haven Andersen; his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Raelynn, Remington, David and Sage; and his close friend Sandy Carstens.
