With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wiley Ray Van Ommen of Searsboro, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Ommen and Mary Retha Van Ommen (Heitsman); and his brother Wayne Van Ommen. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Van Ommen of Searsboro; his children, Steve Van Ommen (Nicole) of Riverside and Amanda Hagenow (Chris) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Haley Holden, Eleanor Van Ommen, Owen Hagenow, Noah Hagenow and Sophia Hagenow; and his sister Wauneta Davis (Fred) of Newton. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hope Church.
