She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde White and Opal White (Thomas); her husband Gene Gibson; her siblings, Donna Behrends and Tom Shannon; and her grandson Dan Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Gibson (Sandra) of Scranton, William Van "Jim" Gibson (Dean Koster) of Iowa City and Linda Ryerson of Ames; her half-sister Connie Lipke (Al) of Michigan; and her siblings-in-law, Marge Stewart of Perry and Paul Behrends of Monticello. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.
