She was predeceased by: her parents, August Olson and Mildred Olson; her parents-in-law, Don and Emma Smouse; and her son Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Smouse; her children, Tim Smouse of Delhi, IA, Jeanette McGreevy of Madison, SD and Nancy Calvert (Randy) of St. Charles, IA; her grandsons, Colton Calvert of Story City, IA and Ethan Calvert of St. Charles, IA; her sisters, Julee Malm (Doug) of Onekama, MI, Nancy Wilson (Eddie) of Charlotte, NC and Bonnie Olson-Lane of Hurley, WI; and her sister-in-law Maxine Smouse of Coon Rapids, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
