It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Francis Garnett of Scranton, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milferd Garnett and Vera Garnett (Hartwigsen); his wife Doloris Ione Morlan; his siblings, Virginia Vernon, Gladys Hoffman and Don Garnett; his niece Michelle Paup; and his nephews, Robert Kennedy and John Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Garnett (Janet) of Princeville, IL, Roger Garnett (Lisa) of Jefferson, Glen Garnett (Jane) of Sibley, Joyce Poggensee (Charlie) of Harlan, Janet Cummings (Joe) of Jefferson and David Garnett (Rande) of Minneapolis, MN; his sisters, Lucille Cadwell (Scott), Doris Kennedy, Darlene Taggart and Harriett Paup (Byron); and his grandchildren, Matthew Garnett, Lisa Inman (Garnett), Lindsey Lloyd, Brandon Hansen, Candace Powell (Garnett), Amanda Alvarez (Garnett), Cliff Garnett, Mike Poggensee, Daniel Poggensee, Tom Poggensee, Joy Perrett (Cummings), Christopher Cummings, Julie Baker (Cummings), Brigitte Vellekoop and Joanna Pederson. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
