With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Marie Hight (Schleswig, Iowa), who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rathgeber and Emma Rathgeber (Post); her husband Myrl Hight; her children, Carl Hight and Patty Hight Lechtenberg; her great grandchild Logan Lechtenberg; her great great grandchild James Nichols; and her siblings, Emmett, Raymond, Melvin Rathgeber and Adele Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Violet Heckens (Doug) of Fremont, Leroy Hight (Marlene) of Schleswig, Lyle Hight (Madeline) of York, Judy Wilson (Dan) of Norfolk and Susan Schwatken (Ron) of Paola, Kansas; her son-in-law Ron "Rex" Lechtenberg (Catherine) of Denison; her great great grandchild Kyson Dean; and her siblings-in-law, Darie Heck of Littleton, Colorado and Elton Hight (Miriam) of Lake City, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
