He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Christiansen and Mollie Petersen Christiansen; and his siblings, Helen Bryant, Adeline Ettleman, Lucille Brown, Raymond and Charles Christiansen.
He is survived by: his wife Artis Christiansen of Mapleton, Iowa; and his daughters, Kay Wilken (Neil) of Schleswig and Mary Jo Jessen (Robert) of Mapleton, Iowa. He is also survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
