He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Flynn and LorettA Flynn; his brothers, James and Tom; and his nephew Jimmy.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lu; his children, Jennifer (John), Charles (Kellie), Jesse and Jason; and his siblings, Carol and Ronald (Beverly). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
