Phyllis Clausen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Clausen in Schleswig, Iowa, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lewis and Wilma "Vi" Viola Lewis (Mahoney); her brother Richard Mahoney (Maria); her parents-in-law, Andrew and Bernice Clausen; her brothers-in-law, Larry Clausen and Wendell Schwarz; and her great-nephew Colton Clausen.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Clausen of Schleswig; her children, Scott Clausen (Kristy) of Ida Grove, Steve Clausen (Lisa) of Denison, Lance Clausen (Elsa) of San Diego and Lynn Kenny (Mike) of Adel; her grandchildren, Jason Clausen (Ashley), Matthew Clausen (Becca), Nicole Ferguson (Joe), Ryan Clausen, Genevieve Clausen-Kang (Joo), Jacob Kenny, Anna Kenny, Emma Clausen, Tess Kenny and Kaia Clausen; her great grandchildren, Scottlynn and Maeve Ferguson; her sister Lois Mahoney of Onawa; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Schwarz and JoAnn Clausen. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family and a donation will be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis research.
