He is survived by: his wife Wanda Schiernbeck of Schleswig; his children, Michelle Volkert (Dan) of Correctionville, Jason Schiernbeck (Angie) of Battle Creek and Shannon Schiernbeck (Trish Byers) of Schleswig; his stepchildren, Jennet Miller (James) of Kansas City, Missouri and Robert Nepper of Slater; his grandchildren, Jordain Taggart (Andrew) of Dallas, Cody Volkert (Taylor Kuhl) of Correctionville, Levi Volkert (Taya Gross) of Correctionville, Dawson, Chace, Brody Schiernbeck of Battle Creek and Asher Miller of Kansas City, Missouri; his sisters, Marlene Shaw (Tom) of Liberal and Marlys Buckner (Steve) of Lamar, Missouri; his sister-in-law Brenda Kelly of Amery, Wisconsin; his parents-in-law, Doug and Delores Howard of Woonsocket; and his friends, Verdene and Linda Kollbaum. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
