She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter G. Schumacher and Jessie Mae Schumacher (Smouse); her stepmother Lorene Schumacher; her siblings, Janice Pearson, Charlotte Yeager and Thomas Schumacher; and her sister-in-law Patty Lechtenberg.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Hight of Schleswig; her daughters, Tracy Beeck (Michael) of Denison, Tamara Chubb of Ankeny and Marissa Hatcher (Jason) of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Kirsten Maschmann (Matthew), Makayla Millar (Phillip), Keenan Beeck, Payton Chubb, Anthony Hatcher and Ava Hatcher; and her siblings-in-law, John Pearson, Allan Yeager (Bev), Jo Schumacher, Violet Heckens (Doug), Lyle Hight (Madeline), Judy Wilson (Dan), Susan Schwatken (Ron) and Ron "Rex" Lechtenberg (Catherine). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for several donations to be made in her name.
