He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife JoAnn; his parents, Andrew Clausen and Bernice Clausen; his brother Leon Clausen (Phyllis); his sons, Greg (Kathy) of Waukee, Grant (Janette) of Schleswig and Gerrad (Carrie) of Granger; his grandchildren, Rachel (Mike), Reid and Ross; his grandparents, Colton (Kenzie), Brittany (Cody), Cody (Kelsey), Ellie and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Reighlyn, Graham and Finnley.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a donation in Larry's name.
