In the vast expanse of eternity, Juanita shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Juanita farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Len Morgan and Edna Morgan (Rollwagen); her husband Melvin Johnson; her sister Beverly Backhaus; and her siblings-in-law, Alden Backhaus and Pam Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Schmidt (Darrin) of Holstein, IA; her granddaughter Jadyn Schmidt of Holstein, IA; and her brother Doug Morgan of Lawrence, KS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; along with great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Schaller United Methodist Church (209 W 3rd St, Schaller, IA 51053). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
