With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Uneva M. Berntson of Sanborn, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holck and Alvina Holck (Peters); her husband Curtiss Berntson; her daughter Sandra; and her siblings, Leroy, John, Donald, Elva Cole, Florence Osthus and Sylvia Fiddelke.
She is survived by: her sons, David of Paullina, Gene (Jane) and Eric (Amy) of Sioux City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Mark, Brian, Michael, Alec, Megan, Sara, Emily, Bob and Jerry; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Kate and Justin; and her sister-in-law Donna Holck. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (103 W Groesbeck St, Paullina, IA 51046). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the During Fellowship.
