He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Egdorf and Edna Egdorf (Schoeltje); his parents-in-law, Hank and Min Koele; his son-in-law David Van Engen; his grandsons, Jason Van Engen and Austin Opheim; and his siblings, Gene, Dennis, Arlen "Butch" Egdorf and June Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his wife Tylene Kay Koele; his children, Randy Egdorf (Tanya) of Sanborn, Terri Tucholke (Greg) of Dawson, Mike Egdorf (Julie) of Emmetsburg, Todd Egdorf (Lyn) of Paullina and Galen Egdorf (Angela Wilderman) of Oakland City, Indiana; and his sisters, Janice Kuiper, Carol Ferguson, Arlene Woelber (Leroy), Kathy Sohl (Lawrence) and Candice Gross. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
