She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Smith and Francis Smith (Shepherd); her husbands, Art De Vos and John Prins; and her grandsons, Darren and Todd.
She is survived by: her former husband Arthur De Vos; her sons, Gene De Vos (Lynette) and Gary De Vos (Jan); her stepchildren, Ronda Van Veldhuizen (Duane), Roy Prins (Jeri), Lois Heemstra (Larry), Mark Prins (Lisa) and Myra Wolfswinkel (Brian); and her siblings, Paul, John Smith and Shirley Brondum (Ron). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Due to the Corona Virus guidelines from the Governor of the State of Iowa, a private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Hospers Cemetery near Hospers, IA.
