She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donkersloot and Johanna Donkersloot (Rutgers); her siblings, Ray (Alyda Donkersloot), Henry (Bernice Donkersloot), Al Donkersloot, Gert Donkersloot and Gladys (Earl Elgersma); her son-in-law Allen Roder; and her grandson Calvin Geels.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Alons; her children, Judith Van Duyn (Loren) of Liberty, MO, Kenneth (Brenda) of Valley Springs, SD, Lois Postma (Larry) of Sheldon, IA, Myrna Roder (Jerry Breuker) of Arnold's Park, IA and Norma Geels (Randy) of Sioux Center, IA; her brother Marvin (Luann Donkersloot) of Sheldon, IA; and her sister-in-law Marie Donkersloot of Worthington, MN.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
