She is survived by: her parents, Jack L. Elgersma and Nancy K. Iverson (Keith) of Sanborn, IA; her husband Brian John Buren of John's Lutheran Church; her daughter Amber Vermeer (Chase); her grandchildren, Huckson of Orange City, IA and Alivia of Orange City, IA; her son Caleb Buren (Shania); her grandchild Bentlee of Marcus, IA; her daughter Jenna Buren of Sanborn, IA; her siblings, Brent Elgersma (Kelsey), Shane Elgersma (Lanea) and Shannon Letsche (Brian); her mother-in-law Karen Buren of Sanborn, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Alesch (Mike), Brad Buren (Donna) and Bruce Buren (Julie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lutheran Church (305 Angie St, Sanborn, IA 51248). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
