It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Eugene Jenkins of Salix, Iowa, born in Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Jenkins and Alice Jenkins (Byers); his sister Joann Jenkins; and his granddaughter Angel Edris. He is survived by: his wife Carol Irwin; his children, Cheryl Marie Edris of Onawa, Eric Eugene Jenkins of Rapid City and Lisa Ann Jenkins of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Bradyn Bangtson, Hunter Jenkins, Iris Hancock and Cody Jenkins; and his siblings, Glenn Jenkins Jr. of Sloan, Phillip Jenkins (Linda) of Sloan, Roger Jenkins (Blanche) of Sloan, Betty Hickman (Steve) of Faribault, Charlotte Hemmrich of Overland Park, Lester Jenkins (Jane) of Whiting, Karen Jenkins of Sloan and Leann Jenkins of Sloan, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
