He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Garner and Doris Garner (Sailors); his sons, Shane Garner, Sean Garner and Edward Jansa; his stepfather Victor Babcock; and his siblings, Gary Garner, Douglas Garner, Betty Garner, Connie Hamilton and Kristie Kaye Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Karlene Bumann; his children, Al Jansa, Shelli Garner, Samara Kreifels (John) and Karlene McKinney (Sam Ford); and his siblings, Steven Garner, Bernard Garner (Beautiful Mary) and Cheryl Boyle (Patrick). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and Penny (Fur Baby).
