He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Cox and Vera Cox (Lulou); his wife Linda Marie Cox; and his brothers, Barry and Alan Cox.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Cox (Jody), Carrie Cox and Cheryl Rybak (Martin); his brother Ed Cox; and his grandchildren, Cody Cox, Jake, Jaden and Faith Aayrn Rybak.
