He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Smithhart; his children, Chad Volner (Kristen) of Mansfield, Heidi Gensley (Dustin) of Marion and Matt Volner; his daughter-in-law Tina Volner of Muscle Shoals; his grandchildren, Korbin, Ali, Trenady, Briley, Hailey, Lily, Landon and Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Melody and Theo; and his sister Linda Laufer (Carl) of Redbud, Illinois..
