With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Platter (Saint Marys, Iowa), born in Estherville, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Platter; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Jensen and Phyllis Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Lois of Graettinger; his children, Pat Gacke (Mark) of Canton, Kathy Bates (Randy) of Pine Island, Jeff Platter (Kristin) of Amarillo and Bill Platter (Margaret) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Amber Lueth (Andy), Phillip Gacke, Rachel Holm (Dalton), Taylor Bates, Garrett Bates, Tanner Bates, Amy Platter, Eric Platter, Mac Platter and Anna Hayes Platter; his great grandchildren, Aiden Lueth and Addison Lueth; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Platter and Laverne Jensen (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
