She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wilgenbush and Charles Wilgenbush; her husband Maurice Gehringer; her sisters, Janet Gehringer Sawyer (Wilgenbush) and Donna McClure; and her siblings-in-law, Lester "Doc" Gehringer, Mert Sawyer, Robert "Bob" Doughty, Francis Gehringer, Ted McClure, Gary Linnenkamp, Ed Fallon, Claribel Hopple and Mary Rief.
She is survived by: her children, John (Amber), Randall (Karla), Steven (Jolene), Elizabeth (Tompsie Smith), Robert (Wendy) and Brian (Maureen); her grandchildren, Lacey Furman (Josh), Trevor Gehringer (Nichole), Morgan Schultz (Randal), Kaitlyn Ross (Drew), Lane Gehringer (Lindsey Young), Courtney Gehringer (Raithe Clemons), Tucker and Zachary Gehringer; her great grandchildren, Averi, Dawsyn, Dylann, Devyn Gehringer, Ira, Veda Furman, Sutton, Sawyer Schultz and Jameson Ross; and her siblings, John Wilgenbush (Karen), Kathleen Lippold (Jerome), Nadine Shutt/Fredregill/Doughty, Marietta Linnenkamp (Billie), Lynda Wilgenbush and Sheila Wilgenbush (Oberender).
A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (101 St James St, St Marys, IA 50241). Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Church (101 St James St, St Marys, IA 50241).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Marys Fire and Rescue or the Pink Tractor Foundation.
