We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2023, at the age of 82, Donald E. Thoma of Saint Donatus, Iowa, born in Bellevue, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thoma and Frances Thoma (Meisenburg); his siblings, William Thoma, Arnold Thoma, Joseph Thoma, Victor Thoma, Marie Barth, Larry Thoma, Ernest Thoma and Bernice Pottebaum; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Thoma, Alfred Barth, Edwin Klaas, Louis Pottebaum, Viola Thoma, Phyllis Thoma, Edna Thoma, Alice Thoma and Betsy Thoma.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Clapham; his children, MaDonna Kremer (Mark) of Cascade and Eldon Thoma (Darci) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, William, Kayleese, Brenton, Trista, Zeb, Elizabeth of Easton, L. J., Gabby, Haydon, Henry and Esther; and his siblings, Francis Thoma (Mary), Richard Thoma and Patricia Klaas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Donald Thoma memorial fund has been established.
