He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie and Frances Mabel Medders Turner; his daughter Laurene K. Turner; his wife Kathryn Turner; and his siblings, Walter Turner, Florence "Flo" Fisher, Edee Boelman and Joyce "Joy" Young.
He is survived by: his sons, Rod (Tish) of St. Ansgar and Ray of Charles City; his granddaughters, Chelsea Aherns (Cort) of Toledo and Bailey Turner of St. Ansgar; his great grandchildren, Anna and Kathryn Ahrens; and his brothers-in-law, James Boelman and David Young. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
