With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Lavonne Jorgensen of Saint Ansgar, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Gottsch and Florence Timperley Gottsch; her husband Duane Jorgensen; her sister Barbara Moran; her mother-in-law Minnie Jorgensen; her siblings-in-law, Robert, Don Jorgensen and Betty Lou Nicol; and her grandson Mark Jorgensen.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Jorgensen of Casa Grande, AZ, Kenneth Jorgensen (Lynn) of St. Ansgar, IA, John Jorgensen (Jackie) of Ankeny, IA and Ann Powers (Mike) of St. Ansgar. She is also survived by two great-great grandchildren, with one more on the way; nieces and nephews; and some very special friends.
