It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Joseph Wagner of Saint Ansgar, Iowa, born in Osage, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Wagner and Donna Wagner (Huemann); his brothers, Michael and Paul Anthony; and his brother-in-law Mike Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Dierks of Akron, Iowa.; his sons, Jared Wagner and Benjamin Wagner; his siblings, Russ Wagner (Julie), Karen Gast (Del), Pat Wagner (Deanne) and Kristie Greenstreet (John); his sister-in-law Nancy Wagner; his parents-in-law, Marie and Myron Dierks; and his siblings-in-law, Vicky Smith, Myra Dierks and David Dierks (Gail). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
