It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgean Baker of Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lange and Ida Lange (Carmen); her children, Sandra Miller, Carl Jr. 'Gus Swenson and Jimmy Swenson; her former husband Carl Swenson Sr.; her husband Joseph Baker; and her grandson Ryan Ausborn.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Swenson (Christy) of Lake View, IA, David Swenson (Cheryl) of Lake View, IA and Becky Morris (Kevin) of Sublette, KS; her grandchildren, Cameron Miller (Debbie), Barbara Weber (Cory), Jenny Stock (Jimmy), John Swenson (Vanessa), Beth Snyder (Andrew) and Cody Ausborn; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Tori, Brayden, Gunnar, Keely, Bennett, Heidi, Emma, Avery, Owen, Wyatt and Ashton; her granddaughter-in-law Abby Stanford; her son-in-law Craig Miller; and her brother Leo Lange (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
